This is the same picture but with my brother Steve in it. He's been living in Ft. Beaufort for over a year. He's been gone from the US since May of 2006 but will be coming home for a visit in April of 2008. He plans to come back to South Africa to live as a permanent resident, that is if his paperwork goes through.

Where do you think, Wendy...taking the picture, of course!!! We did actually get one of him but these pictures were the better of the three.

Hi Again Wendy, I just noticed that Rob is in the second picture (green shirt on the right, kneeling). Will tell Mitra hi for you Marya and Troy and Beth. The shoes are Angeline's...I forgot white ones if you can imagine, Shana...but Steve said everything is cheap here, so I plan to spend some Rand! Everyone is looking over my shoulder waiting for me cuz we have a long drive ahead of us...more later. Love to all:)

Nice to hear from you, Joy. We're in Knysna tonight and heading to Cape Town tomorrow...will be there four days seeing the sights; Table Mt., Robben Island, etc. Rob stayed at the game lodge that we just left this morning so he could continue hunting. While there we saw a ton of cool wild animals; Rhinos, giraffes, worthogs, baboons, zebras, hippos, and numerous deer, impalas, sables, etc., too many to name here...we got lots of pictures but will post them later when we have time. We will connect with Rob on Wednesday to continue the trip to Addo Elephant Park. We're having a super time. Africa is way more beautiful than I expected. Keep in touch. Love, Aunt Martine:)

Hi Sis....I just now have had time to get on the computer and to look at my 96 e-mails...(groan)....we've had so much company (but love it);-) Loved the pictures so far...keep up the good work. I've met several of the people in your group meeting picture because those boys have come to the USA. Nice people. I'll put your "Martine on Safari" on my favorites so I can check it more often. Love you, Hi, to everyone. Love, Pammy

Hi Martine,
Glad to see your new "African blog" & pictures! Hope everything is enjoyable & adventurous! I've also enjoyed Chloe's blog - what a precious little girl! Also, CONGRATULATIONS on the news AGAIN, that your're expecting your 3rd grandchild! (2) being born next year!! I'm very happy for you!!
Extend my greetings to Rob, Nicole & Brynna too! Ann :-}

Hi Jacquena, Nice to hear from you. Did your mom help you with your post? You sound much too grown up!!!

We are having a super time here in South Africa.

We spent Christmas at the beach so it didn't really seem like Christmas, since it was around 90 degrees. Sean said that Bend has 8 inches of snow with more in the forecast, so we are missing out on that. The girls are heading to the beach, so they don't mind:):):)

Write again, Love~Aunt Martine
